Two years ago, we migrated from Subversion to Mercurial. The choice of Mercurial was made because of the simplicity of Mercurial from Git, and its better support on windows. Repositories was then hosted on Bitbucket.

Since, things have involved. Git is not so "rough" now, its support on windows seems to be better, and moreover, the source code collaboration website, Github, is evolving more quickly than Bitbucket, and propose more advanced features, like the code review.

The branch management with Mercurial was also limiting for us, with our daily use of hg, and Git is more flexible with branches.

So we decided to move to Git and the new official repository of Jelix is hosted on Github.com. It contains the stable branches for Jelix 1.2.x and 1.3.x. Older branches are staying on Bitbucket.
