Jelix is a PHP 5 framework which supports cool features : some design pattern (like DAO, MVC, iterator etc..), a light-weight template engine, a database abstraction layer, a modular design, authentification/rights management features, forms management and generation etc.. It helps also to generate XUL content, RDF content etc, to develop some XUL applications. And of course, it will help to use Ajax.
